Peer Reviewer Process

Scientia Nusantara Health Journal (SNHJ) applies a peer-review process to ensure the quality, relevance, and academic integrity of manuscripts considered for publication.

Each submitted manuscript is initially evaluated by the editor to determine its suitability for the journal's focus and scope and to ensure that it meets the basic submission requirements. Manuscripts that meet these requirements proceed to the peer-review stage.

Manuscripts are evaluated by reviewers with relevant expertise in the subject area of the article. Reviewers assess the scientific quality, methodology, clarity of presentation, originality, relevance of references, and contribution of the manuscript to the field of health sciences.

The review process follows a double-blind review system, in which the identities of authors and reviewers are not disclosed to each other during the review process. Based on the reviewers' recommendations, the editor may accept the manuscript, request revisions, or reject the manuscript.

Authors are given the opportunity to revise their manuscripts based on reviewers' comments and recommendations. The final decision regarding publication rests with the editor, taking into consideration the peer-review results and the journal's editorial policies.
